# Unifi Registration Online Agent: The Easiest Way to Get Connected

Moving into a new home, upgrading your office setup, or simply frustrated with slow internet speeds? Getting a high-speed fiber broadband connection is a priority. In Malaysia, Telekom Malaysia’s **Unifi** is a top choice for reliable, ultra-fast fiber internet.

While you can technically queue up at a physical TMpoint or attempt to navigate the main corporate website, thousands of Malaysians choose a simpler alternative: using a **Unifi Registration Online Agent**.

Here is everything you need to know about registering through an authorized online agent, how the process works, and why it is often the smartest choice for your home or business.

## Why Register Through an Online Agent Instead of Going Direct?

Authorized Unifi online agents operate as official partners of Telekom Malaysia. They use the official **Unifi Dealer Portal** to submit your applications directly into the TM system.

Registering through an online agent offers several key advantages:

* **Zero Queueing, 100% Digital:** Skip traffic, parking hassles, and long lines at TMpoint. You can complete your entire application via WhatsApp or an online form from your couch.
* **Personalized Consultations:** Main websites present dense feature tables. An online agent acts as a tech peer—analyzing your usage (gaming, streaming, small business operations) to match you with the exact speed you need without overpaying.
* **Proactive “Port Full” Resolution:** If the internet port in your residential area is full, standard online systems might simply reject your request. Experienced agents often know how to track port clearing, submit waitlists, or request port expansions from TM technical teams.
* **No Hidden Fees:** Authorized agents do not charge you a single cent for their registration services. They are compensated directly by TM, meaning you get premium customer service completely free.

## Step-by-Step: How the Online Registration Process Works

Working with an online agent makes the application process simple. The standard workflow includes:

1. **Check Coverage:** Takes 2 minutes.
Provide your full address to the online agent. They will check the database to confirm if TM fiber infrastructure reaches your exact unit or home.

2. **Select Your Package:** Based on your budget.
Choose from Unifi Home plans (ranging from 100Mbps up to 2Gbps) or Unifi Business plans. The agent will guide you through current promotions, like free trial months or entertainment add-ons (Netflix/HBO Max).

3. **Submit Documents Digitally:** Secure upload via WhatsApp or web form.
Send a clear copy/photo of your MyKad (IC) or Passport (for foreigners). Foreigners typically require a standard deposit, while locals generally enjoy RM0 upfront payment depending on the plan.

4. **Schedule Installation:** Pick your preferred date.
Once the agent submits the order into the portal, you will select a convenient date and time window for the TM Elite Crew/contractors to install the router and fiber modem at your premises.

## Current Unifi Packages at a Glance (2026)

Before you message an agent, review this quick breakdown of the standard tiers to determine your needs:

| Plan Type | Best For | Included Hardware |
| **100 Mbps** | Light streaming, browsing, small apartments (1-3 users) | Wi-Fi 6 Router |
| **300 Mbps** | Moderate families, smart home devices, HD/4K streaming | Wi-Fi 6 Router + Mesh option |
| **500 Mbps** | Heavy gaming, content creators, multiple 4K streams simultaneously | Wi-Fi 6 Router + Mesh included |
| **1 Gbps / 2 Gbps** | Tech enthusiasts, large households, small business offices | Premium Wi-Fi 6 / Next-Gen Hardware |

> **Security Note:** Always ensure you are dealing with a reputable agent. Authorized agents will never ask for your bank account passwords or credit card CVV numbers. Document submission should strictly consist of your identity card and installation details.
